About this site

This site provides information about the HortiOwl platform — management software for UK garden centres, nurseries, and horticultural businesses — and lets you contact us or book a demonstration. Product information, screenshots, and feature descriptions are provided in good faith and reflect the platform at the time of writing; the platform is actively developed, so features may change, be added, or be withdrawn.

Demos and enquiries

Demo bookings and enquiries are arranged by email. Requesting or attending a demo places you under no obligation, and does not by itself create a contract for the HortiOwl service. Any quote we provide following a demo is an invitation to discuss terms, not a binding offer, unless it expressly says otherwise.

The HortiOwl platform is a separate service

Use of the HortiOwl application itself is governed by a separate written agreement — including a subscription agreement, service level agreement, and data processing agreement — entered into when you become a customer. Copies are available on request from hello@hortiowl.co.uk. These website terms do not grant any right to access or use the platform.

Acceptable use

You may not use this site in any way that is unlawful, that damages or disrupts the site, or that attempts to gain unauthorised access to any related system. Automated scraping of the site’s content for republication is not permitted without our written consent.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, graphics, screenshots, and the HortiOwl name and logo — is the property of HortiOwl and may not be reproduced without written permission, except for fair quotation with attribution.

Disclaimer and liability

This site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on the content of this site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Personal data you provide through the site is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they last changed; continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
